InsureIQ ("we", "our", "us") is a Singapore-based service that helps individuals understand their insurance policy documents. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.
2. Data We Collect
- Account information: Your email address and password (or Google account details) when you register.
- Policy documents: PDF files you upload for translation and analysis. These are stored securely and associated with your account only.
- Policy metadata: Policy type, next premium due date, and page count that you provide when uploading.
- Usage data: Anonymous analytics on how you use the app (pages visited, features used) via Vercel Analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected in analytics.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the InsureIQ service — translating and explaining your policy documents.
- To send you email reminders before your premium due dates (only if you have provided a due date).
- To improve our service through anonymous usage analytics.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate InsureIQ:
- Supabase — secure database and authentication (servers in Singapore/Asia region).
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI model used to analyse and explain your policy content. Documents are sent to Anthropic's API for processing and are not stored by Anthropic.
- Resend — email delivery service for premium reminders.
- Vercel — hosting and analytics platform.
5. Data Retention
Your account data and uploaded policies are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your policies at any time from your dashboard. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.
6. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to your policies is restricted to your account only via Supabase Row Level Security. We do not have access to your uploaded documents beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
7. Your Rights (PDPA)
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate personal data.
- Withdraw consent for the use of your personal data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
